We have modern Theatre suites, a state-of-the-art Outpatient service and 2 wards, comprising of 70 beds, covering a range of specialities including Surgery, Day care and HDU, which provides a dynamic and stimulating environment for our highly motivated team.
Duties and responsibilities
You will be an NMC Registered Nurse who can demonstrate a range of nursing skills supported by professional and clinical knowledge. You will possess the mandatory training requirements for role including infection control and health and safety competencies. As well as the ability to carry out your basic workload and shift management, you will be able to exhibit the principles of accountable practice. Knowledge of appropriate standards and external bodies, such as the Care Quality Commission is also a must
Who we're looking for
- Current NMC registration with no restrictions on practise
- Evidence of continuous professional development, with a good understanding of NMC Code of Professional Conduct and revalidation
- Good knowledge and experience in surgical nursing, with good communication skills
