Kent and Medway's Older Adult Acute Mental Health Inpatient Wards provide excellent environments for the delivery of numerous specialist assessments, treatments and interventions. The integration of psychological, occupational, nursing and medical staff working in tandem also cultivates an atmosphere of learning for the whole team. Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust will actively complement your development through funding ongoing university studies as well as offering a range of internal courses and experiences across the county.
We take pride in our services which are underpinned by our values of respect, openness, accountability, working together, innovation and excellence.
About the role:
We have a number of opportunities to work on our older adult inpatient wards in the North Kent area with a ward in Dartford and Medway.
We are looking for Staff Nurses who care about making a difference to the lives of people in need. Candidates must be of the character to thrive in delivering an eclectic range of assessments, treatments and interventions whilst evaluating their efficacy and contributing towards the development of a vibrant and multifaceted service. You might be a newly qualified RMN/RNLD nurse, or an experienced nurse looking for a new challenge, and you would love to join a forward thinking service that invests in staff through continuous development and career progression.
To recognise your talent and experience we also offer a £1,200 'New Hire' bonus for registered nursing staff joining us in a band 5 or 6 front line nursing role with direct patient care.
This post is subject to a six month probationary period for candidates external to the Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust.
Employment in this post is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure & Barring Service.
In the winter of 2017, we launched our new and exciting Nursing Strategy, which is attached here for your reference. Our strategy will support our registered and unregistered nursing staff to provide the best care possible to our patients and their families, whilst enjoying a long and supportive career with us here at KMPT.
