Job Description

King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust part of King's Health Partners Academic Health Sciences Centre (AHSC), is one of the UK’s largest and busiest teaching hospitals with a turnover of nearly £1 billion, 1.5 million patient contacts a year and more than 11,500 staff based across 5 main sites in South East London.

The Trust provides a full range of local hospital services across its different sites, and specialist services from King’s College Hospital (KCH) site in Camberwell and the Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH) site in Bromley.

Do you want to develop a specialist interest in Urology nursing? Do you enjoy building up long term relationships with patients? Do you enjoy working in a team?

If so, this is a rare opportunity for a highly motivated nurse to join our team of friendly Urology Unit nurses. Experience in Urology is desirable. The applicant must be motivated and have excellent communication skills.

The Urology Department at King’s College Hospital is regarded as the principle referral centre for patients with Urology conditions for the Beckenham area.

The Development of this role will significantly enhance the quality of the service provided to this group of patients suffering from a range of conditions within the Urology Department.

Individuals with a Urology experience, cancer background are encouraged to apply. A track record in service development will be considered as important as specialist knowledge in this area.
