Job Description

We are recruiting for Theatre Nurses, across Scrub, Recovery & Anaesthetic on behalf of a private healthcare provider, who have an international presence and over 30 services across the UK. The company provide diagnostic services, treatment and a range of surgical procedures to both privately insured and NHS patients.

The organisation is committed to developing and nurturing their teams and are constantly investing in new state of the art equipment and technology whilst expanding their sites and clinical provisions.

The current Theatre Nurse posts we have are based at a highly reputable hospital in Chelmsford, that boasts an exceptional patient satisfaction track record and outstanding facilities. They service 6 fully equipped theatres, and can accommodate 75 admitted patients, since the recent Innovate expansion of their Excellent Hospital service - which therefore has created a number of exciting, and career developing opportunities for Theatre and Surgical Nurses to enhance their professional skillset - in whichever direction they desire.

Therefore we are seeking Theatre Nurses & ODP's, to join our team who can demonstrate a strong clinical background and want to develop in a Theatre/ Surgical setting. You will be joining a wonderful team environment and reporting into the highly experienced Theatre Manager and Matron, who will support you in developing your skills across a variety of Clinical Specialities.

You will be working & taking on responsibility within a multidisciplinary team, delivering safe and individualised care. There is an array of training opportunities to help you develop as a clinician, manager and person.


RGN/ODP Registered with the NMC/HCPC

Sound written and verbal communication skills

Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required


Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business

Flexibility between day case & general theatre environment

Experience in orthopaedics, gynaecology and cosmetics

Experience across any of the following; Scrub, Anaesthetic & Recovery
