This is an exciting opportunity to work in a rapidly moving field of cancer research and with world class medics in current cutting edge cancer therapy development.
We are currently seeking a Research Nurse or a Clinical Trials Practitioner to join our Aerodigestive team in the Cambridge Cancer Trials Centre (CCTC). The CCTC is an exciting collaborative centre conducting research at all phases of clinical drug development and co-ordinates major multi-centre studies. Our goals are to improve outcomes for patients with cancer or at risk of developing cancer. The Aerodigestive team manages a portfolio of late phase trials in head and neck, lung, upper GI, colorectal, liver, gall bladder and pancreatic cancer.
Your role will include:
• Running your own portfolio of cancer research studies within the Aerodigestive team.
• Screening, recruiting and co-ordinating treatment for patients on these dynamic trials.
• Liaising with patients, consultants and external companies regarding the effects of the trial/medications.
• Dividing your time between office based work and outpatient clinical areas
• Working autonomously as well as part of the MDT team.

This post is subject to a satisfactory DBS clearance as a result, you will be required to pay the associated fee of £47.50. This fee will be deducted from your second month's salary.
