Purosearch are currently looking for an outstanding Deputy Nursing Home Manager to manage and develop a care home team in the delivery of high quality care and service in support within a friendly care home, offering residential, nursing, residential dementia and nursing dementia care.
My client have a fantastic reputation for beautiful and purpose built nursing homes. I am working on behalf of the Regional Manager to identify a Deputy Home Manager who will support the Home Manager in moving this great Nursing Home forward. This is a fantastic time to join the home as a Deputy Nursing Home Manager and you will have the opportunity to work alongside an experienced and dedicated Home Manager and Senior Leadership Team.
Role and Responsibilities of the Deputy Nursing Home Manager:
The Deputy Nursing Home Manager will report into the Home Manager and you will be expected to deliver operational and commercial success in collaboration with the Senior Management team.
You will be a passionate and caring social care professional and will ideally be working as a Senior Nurse, Unit Manager or a Deputy Manager at present. In addition, you will have a willingness to work alongside your team on the floor and display best practice is a must as is the ability to complete supernumerary hours in the office alongside and in the absence of the Registered Manager.
Requirements of the Deputy Nursing Home Manager:
• Experience of working in an older person setting.
• Producing well developed care plans.
• The Deputy Home Manager will have worked with and mentored a small care team and have a track record of supporting more junior staff.
• The successful Deputy Manager will also be a Registered Nurse with Current NMC PIN and excellent clinical skills.
Summary of the role and responsibilities of the Deputy Nursing Home Manager:
As the Deputy Nursing Home Manager, you will play an integral role within the Nursing Home, supporting the Registered Manager in the day to day running of this stunning Nursing Home. You will be nurse qualified (RMN/RGN) and will have senior management experience at either; Senior Nurse Level, Clinical Lead Level, Unit Lead Level or be a current Deputy Home Manager. The successful Deputy Nursing Home Manager will be exposed to a range of training and development opportunities and career progression.
