Social Worker - Family Safeguarding Team in Taunton (UK), earning £39.43 hourly on a locum basis for 3 months. What you will do:

* Manage a complex caseload, including Child in Need, Child Protection, and Child Looked After cases

* Competently handle Court Work and conduct parenting assessments in pre-proceedings

* Complete comprehensive assessments, evaluating needs, risks, strengths, and protective factors to develop meaningful plans for children's protection and support

* Respond to referrals from various sources and assess the needs of children and families according to statutory frameworks

* Engage and collaborate with partner agencies and other Children's Services teams

* Participate in a duty rota to manage crisis situations and support family stability

* Empower and enable individuals and families to achieve positive and sustainable change

* Promote the values of relationship-based social work throughout your practice, drawing upon creative thinking to build rapport with children and families
