What you will do:

* Manage and plan for current and future risk situations of service users in collaboration with City Council colleagues, partner agencies, and stakeholders.

* Assess and devise person-centred packages promoting independence for service users.

* Supervise and cultivate the growth of students and trainees, while contributing to staff development.

* Support service users and their families through complex decision-making processes, in line with statutory obligations.

* Effectively assess and meet service users' individual needs, fostering positive outcomes for Manchester residents.

* Develop strategic solutions focusing on high-quality service delivery and user satisfaction.

* Collaborate with a variety of colleagues and stakeholders to advance service development within Manchester City Council and partner organisations.

* Engage with diverse sectors to promote transparency and cooperation in meeting service users' needs.

* Maintain precise and appropriate records, meeting statutory targets and showcasing service improvements.

Requirements:

* Possess a recognised Social Work Qualification.

* Consent to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

* Registered with Social Work England.

* Prepared to travel to any location within Manchester.
