Location: Cork City

Position Type: Part time role (2 days per week, Permanent Contract)

Salary: Open to negotiation, alignment to public sector pay scale, pro rata.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cardiac Physiologist/ Echocardiographer to join our client’s esteemed private Cardiology practice, COS Cardio. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for cardiac physiology and the ability to contribute to their mission of delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and interpret ECGs with a focus on clinical accuracy.

• Fit and analyze Holter, blood pressure, and event monitors.

• Provide professional support for a range of diagnostic cardiac services.

• Participate in and contribute to the safe performance and analysis of Exercise Stress Tests.

• Assist with echocardiography and other cardiac diagnostic procedures.

• Ensure patient safety and contribute to a positive patient experience.

Essential Qualifications:

• BSc in Clinical Measurement Science, Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement (MPPM), or an equivalent qualification. (Applicants must have equivalence verified by the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurement Science - IICMS).

• Evidence of ECG performance and interpretation.

• Experience in fitting and analysis of Holter, blood pressure, and event monitors.

Additional Requirements:

• The ideal candidate will possess broad technical knowledge and skills.

• Flexibility and a willingness to adapt to evolving service needs.

• Strong background in echocardiography
