If you are an experienced Medical Nurse with an interest in cardiology, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you! to join our established, innovative and forward-thinking cardiology nursing team at London Bridge Hospital.

We're looking for a Staff Nurse to join our Cardiology Department at London Bridge Hospital, currently rated "Outstanding" by the CQC. Regarded as one of the leading cardiovascular centres in the UK, our cardiology department carry out a wide range of cardiac procedures such as: Angiogram, Angioplasty, PPM insertions, Radiofrequency ablations, TAVI, CABG, Heart Valve Surgeries, Aortic aneurysm repairs.

As a Staff Nurse you will be responsible for providing skilled clinical and technical assistance as a member of the Cardiac team and to participate in the assessment of patient care needs and implement and maintain agreed standards of care.

Areas of involvement include:

  • Cardiac Interventional procedures (Cardiac interventional procedures; Angiogram, Angioplasty, PPM insertions, Radiofrequency ablations, TAVI),
  • Cardiac Surgical (CABG, Heart Valve Surgeries, Aortic aneurysm repairs)
  • Thoracic surgeries patients (All lung surgeries and RFA lungs [involves chest drain management and removal].

What you'll bring:
  • Registered General Nurse with full NMC registration.
  • Experience of working with Cardiac patients
  • Ability to recognise cardiac rhythms.
