Job Advert: Senior Care Worker (Domiciliary Care) - Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Reading, UK
Salary: Competitive, plus £12.50/hour for on-call duties, £500/week for on-call, and £0.45p/mile
Hours: 40 hours per week (30 hours care work, 10 hours office work)

My client is a well-established domiciliary care provider based in Reading, looking to hire a Senior Care Worker to join their team on a full-time, permanent contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 30 hours of hands-on care to clients within their homes, ensuring a compassionate and professional service.
- Complete 10 hours of office-based duties each week, including the supervision, mentoring, and development of care staff.
- Be responsible for scheduling, rostering, and coordinating the care team to ensure smooth operations.
- Take part in on-call duties, paid at £12.50 per hour, with an additional £500/week for being on-call.
- Assist in conducting assessments, writing care plans, and ensuring compliance with all care regulations.
- Support with office administration tasks, including managing records, reports, and communicating with clients and families.
What We Offer:

- A competitive salary at £12.50/hour.
- Additional £500 per week when on-call.

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in domiciliary care, ideally with some supervisory or senior care responsibilities.
- Ability to supervise, lead, and mentor a team of care workers.

- Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to participate in on-call rota.
