Mental Health Nurse

£44,700 - £47,000

37.5 hours per week

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Mental Health Nurse to join our client's team. As an RMN (Registered Mental Health Nurse), you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care for individuals with complex mental health conditions. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and contribute to their overall well-being.

Qualifications

RMN (Registered Mental Health Nurse) qualification, with valid UK NMC Pin
Proven experience in working with individuals with complex mental health conditions
Strong understanding of mental health legislation and best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health needs
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
Administer medication and monitor its effectiveness
Provide therapeutic interventions and evidence-based treatments
Offer support and counseling to patients and their families
Ensure the safety and security of patients in a clinical setting
Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
