- Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 per annum - negotiable depending on experience
- Hours: Full time - DAYS ONLY

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate Registered Children's Nurse to join a highly reputable private hospital based on the outskirts of Crawley. The hospital has been newly refurbished and boasts state of the art facilities, and this is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Registered Children's Nurse to join their friendly Children and Young People's Department. The team are passionate about person centred care and put their patients at the heart of everything they do and looking for a like-minded Registered Children's Nurse to join them. The service offers a range of services and procedures including Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Urology, Bariatrics, Paediatrics and offers nurses to develop a variety of skills.
Duties and responsibilities
You will be working as a Registered Children's Nurse and will be responsible for the following;
- Support in assessing patient's health and well- being across a complex and changing caseload
- Assist in the delivery of care to meet individuals health and wellbeing needs
- Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information.
- Develop own knowledge and skills and that of others.
- Promote best practice in health and safety and security.
- Assist in maintaining and developing services.
All applicants for the role of Registered Children's Nurse must meet the following criteria;
- Be NMC registered- your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK
- At least 1 years UK experience working on a children's ward
- Child Protection level 3 training
- Paediatric Resus Training
- EPALS or equivalent
- Able to work in teams with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills

Person Specification: All applicants for the role of Registered Children's Nurse must have a valid NMC Registration with no restrictions and full eligibility to live and work in the UK. Applicants must also have at least 1 years UK experience working on a children's ward.
