Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Domestic Nurse/Home Carer to provide high-quality care and support for an individual in their 40s living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) based in Monaco.

This role requires relocation to Monaco for up to 6 months with accommodation and all travel and relocation expenses paid for. There may also be relocation of the patient to London within that period.

This is an excellent opportunity to relocate to a sunny climate and explore the beautiful South of France.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.

- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor health conditions.

- Assist with mobility, including the use of wheelchairs, hoists, and other equipment.

- Prepare meals and assist with feeding, ensuring dietary needs are met.

- Offer companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive atmosphere.

- Coordinate with healthcare professionals and family members to implement care plans.

- Monitor and report changes in the individual's condition to relevant parties.

- Be available for on-call occasionally, with most evenings and weekends free.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSc Nursing or equivalent) received in the UK or Ireland

- Registered Adult Nurse (RN-Adult) with current NMC registration received in the UK or Ireland

- Experience in a hospital setting, demonstrating strong clinical skills.

- Previous domestic caregiving experience is useful but not essential.

- Strong communication skills and a compassionate nature.

- Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting and transferring patients safely.

- Flexibility to work Monday to Friday, with occasional on-call duties during evenings or weekends.

- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation (if needed).

- Willingness to relocate to Monaco in the short term.
