Practice Nurse - Flu Clinics - Stockport

We are currently seeking experienced Practice Nurses for upcoming flu vaccination clinics across Stockport. We are working with many GP surgeries offering flexible weekday locum sessions from Monday to Friday. You choose the days that best suit your schedule, allowing for an optimal work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Practice Nurse within general practice, your duties will include:

• Administering flu vaccinations and ensuring all immunisation schedules are adhered to

• Conducting patient consultations and health assessments

• Accurately recording patient data and maintaining up-to-date medical records

• Participating in chronic disease management, including patient reviews for asthma, diabetes, and other long-term conditions

• Working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care

• Providing health education and support to patients, promoting healthy lifestyle choices

Key Requirements:

• Valid NMC Registered PIN

• Minimum 6 months of experience in a general practice setting

• Up-to-date immunisation and vaccination training

• Proficiency in administering vaccinations, particularly flu vaccines

• Strong skills in accurate data recording and working within a multidisciplinary team
