Key Responsibilities:

As a Locum Practice Nurse, you will be responsible for a range of duties including but not limited to:

•Conducting smear clinics and ensuring accurate cytology screenings

•Managing patients with respiratory conditions, including asthma reviews

•Conducting comprehensive patient reviews for chronic conditions such as diabetes and other long-term illnesses

•Administering vaccinations and ensuring all immunization schedules are up to date, including flu clinics

•Working collaboratively with other clinicians and healthcare professionals within the practice

•Accurately recording patient information and maintaining up-to-date medical records

•Providing advice and education to patients regarding their health, treatments, and lifestyle choices

•Participating in health promotion activities and patient education sessions

Qualifications and Experience:

Valid NMC PIN

•Valid NMC PIN

•Up-to-date mandatory training, including cytology, vaccinations, and immunisations

•Minimum 6 months experience working as a Practice Nurse within a Primary Care Setting
