Clinical Nurse Specialist - Breast
London: Breast Unit at The Wellington Hospital (Platinum Medical Centre)
Full time : 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday
Permanent
£ Competitive depending on experience

We're looking for a Breast Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Breast Care team at Platinum Medical Centre, part of The Wellington Hospital which is currently rated "Good" by the CQC and the largest private hospital in the UK. Since opening in 2011 the Breast Unit has become recognised as one of London's very best private breast screening and diagnostic treatment centres with an unwavering focus on quality, expertise and support for patients - whatever the outcome.

As a Breast Clinical Nurse Specialist we'll look to you to use your expertise to provide holistic and evidence-based care throughout the breast cancer pathway, working alongside a multi-disciplinary team but also autonomously as you oversee the patient pathway. You'll be an advocate for the patient, providing specialist nursing advice and emotional support throughout their journey with us while also driving service development and staff education. What you'll bring:
  • NMC registered Nurse
  • Post-basic qualification in cancer/palliative care, breast cancer or relevant subject (ENB 998, 237, diploma breast care nursing)
  • Experience as Clinical Nurse Specialist -Breast
  • Evidence of continued professional development
  • Level 2 psychological skills training as per recognised course or working towards
  • Extensive post registration experience, in cancer, breast care or palliative care
  • Experience of teaching
