Staff Nurse - Surgical Ward

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Staff Nurse to join our client's busy Inpatient Surgical Ward at their acute hospital site based in the historic 'five boroughs' community of Derby, Derbyshire , England's most central city.

This is a full-time post, but we are open to hearing from candidates seeking to negotiate a part-time hours opportunity. Equally there are opportunities for candidates seeking to work permanent night duty . Newly-qualified or soon-to-qualify Nurses with an interest in a Surgical Ward setting are also welcome to apply.

This organisation is Britain's largest not-for-profit healthcare organisation and is a leading provider of independent healthcare in the UK.

Their Derby Hospital works with some of the regions expert Consultants and multidisciplinary healthcare specialists and comprises 38 beds, three operating theatres, a recently refurbished outpatient department, a minor ops suite, a dedicated oncology unit, and a full range of diagnostics, including on site CT and MRI.

With a mix of private and NHS patients and a wide range of clinical procedures and specialities this makes this centre of excellence an exciting, dynamic and creative place to work.

Person requirements :

Registered Nurse with full NMC registration.

Minimum of six months' post-registration experience in an Acute Inpatient ward setting, including graduate Nurses with particular interest in developing further into a Surgical ward setting.
