Nurse Practitioner/Paramedic Practitioner

An opportunity has arisen to join a highly regarded practice in Ely, Cambridgeshire. The practice is looking for an Advanced Practitioner to join their highly skilled multi-disciplinary team.

You will be joining the Advanced Practitioner Team, working with the Duty Doctor providing patients with urgent "on the day" care.

You will be a qualified Paramedic or Nurse (including District Nurse) with current registration of a relevant professional body, ideally with a minimum of two years post-registration experience.

Salary - £42,060 - £48,130 FTE + NHS pension + 5 weeks annual leave + BH

Location - Ely, Cambridgeshire

Your role -

• Full-time or part-time Advanced practitioner post
• Ideally 2 years post-reg experience
• Qualified Paramedic, Nurse (including District Nurse) background and registered with the relevant professional body
• The focus of the role is providing care for patients presenting with urgent "on the day" care needs
• Supporting patients with Long-term conditions
• Work autonomously and as part of a team
• Experience working in the community would be advantageous
• Appropriate qualification in Minor Illness assessment and management - DESIRABLE
• Experience in triaging
• Working in partnership with patients, families and carers, including care homes
