Social Worker-Post Order Support Team

Type: Permanent Work

Hours: Full time (Monday to Friday)

Salary: £34,341 - £43,815 per annum

Job profile:

The role will mainly involve Post- Order work with SGO carers, which will include completing 6 weeks assessment of needs, ASF applications, referrals to other agencies for ongoing support, etc. It would also include undertaking Step Parent Adoption Assessment Reports and contribute and participate in completing Intercountry Adoption assessment reports. To provide evidence in court. Working in the Permanence and Post Order Team can also include pending on the demands of the service to assess Special Guardians and connected carers, providing support alongside this where the child is already in placement under a temporary approval.

Qualified Social Worker Requirements

- CSW/CQSW/DipSW/BA/MA in Social Work and/or completion of ASYE or 2 years experience

- Current Social Worker England registration

- Current Enhanced DBS Disclosure

- Eligibility to work in the UK without work permit or visa restrictions

- Commitment to the safe care and well-being of vulnerable people
