Specialist Occupational Therapist - Neuro (Senior 2)
London, The Wellington Hospital
Full time: Monday - Friday 37.5 hour per week
9am - 5pm
Permanent

We're looking for a Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our Occupational Therapy team at The Wellington Hospital, currently rated "Good" by the CQC and home to the largest private hospital-based rehabilitation centre in the UK. In the 20 years since our Rehabilitation centre launched we've established an international reputation for delivering the very best rehabilitation programmes, transforming the lives of thousands of patients. And, our Occupational Therapy team are a key part of the holistic care we offer, playing a vital role across both our acute medical ward and Neurological rehabilitation wards.

As a Specialist Occupational Therapist, you'll rotate across our wards in both our North and South buildings, working collaboratively as part of our multidisciplinary team to enhance the health and wellbeing of patients with a wide variety of conditions. Day-to-day you'll work closely with other Allied Health Therapists and world-class Neuro Consultants to provide specialist Occupational Therapy intervention that is tailored to your patient's individualised goals.

What you'll bring:
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy with HCPC registration
  • Experience in Neuro-surgery with adults
  • Experience of assessment and treatment of complex and specialist cases within field of neurological therapy
  • Evidence of completion of specialise courses within the field of neurological and stroke therapy
