Medical/Surgical Ward Nurses - NHS Hospital Dorset

Cpl Healthcare in partnership with University Hospital Dorset NHS Foundation Trust (UHD) is looking to recruit experienced ward nurses.

The trust is comprised of three hospitals; the Royal Bournemouth Hospital, Poole Hospital and Christchurch Hospital, which merged on 1 October 2020, creating a new organisation. The Trust is based in the south coast of England and serves a population of Apply people and collectively employers more than 9000 staff.

As well as delivering excellent general hospital services, UHD is home to a range of specialist services and facilities including:

·      flagship Dorset Cancer Centre, offering medical and clinical oncology services for the whole of Dorset, serving a total population of over Apply

·      a major trauma unit for east Dorset, serving a population of more than Apply people

·      a state-of-the-art Cardiology Unit (the Dorset Heart Centre), and

·      our award-winning orthopaedic service providing hip and knee replacements (the Derwent Unit)

Interested theatre nurses must have

·      Diploma / Degree in Nursing

·      Previous medical / surgical ward nurse experience

·      No more than a gap of 6 months in nursing experience

·      Passed CBT or CBT booking

·      OET / IELTS passed

Benefits

·      Starting salary £23949 (pre-registration salary upon arrival and up to obtaining PIN/post OSCE)

·      Salary upon receipt of NMC registration ranges from £27005.
