Band 6 - Community Psychiatric Nurse/Occupational Therapist
HCL Mental Health currently have an amazing opportunity for a dedicated Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse/Occupational Therapist to work in the outpatient's team in Didcot. This role is to start ASAP and offers £28 - £30 per hour.
Duties
To establish and maintain effective individual health and social care by

• Holistic assessment of client problem/needs.
• Planning, implementation and evaluation of interventions.
• Clear, accurate and concise documentation of client care.
• To participate in the initial assessment of clients to determine appropriateness for the Treatment Service and to liaise with referring agencies to identify alternative agencies as appropriate to meet the client's needs.
• Participate in team and clinical meeting.
• Be aware of one's own values, beliefs and attitudes when assessing clients to ensure that a non-judgmental and objective overview of the client's needs are met at all times.
• Need to establish a therapeutic relationship with individual clients and their families.

The role entails assessing the mental health of people referred by their GP or partner agencies. The candidate should have experience in mental health settings with patients that have severe and enduring mental health illness. We are looking for someone to join the team who has excellent assessment and communication skills. This role is fast-paced and challenging, yet rewarding.
What you will need:

• Must have the right to work in the UK
• NMC registration/SWE/HCPC registration
• 1 years post qualifying experience working within adult community mental health
• 3 years references
• Enhanced DBS check
• Car Driver
