Compass Associates are delighted to be working with a ground-breaking ophthalmic hospital to place a new Scrub Practitioner to join their team. This position is compensated with a generous salary and a wealth of benefits. Full training can be provided for the right candidate - all nursing / HCPC backgrounds welcome.

Job Role

Undertake preoperative assessment and diagnostic tests

Undertake operating theatre scrub role under Afpp good practice guidance

Monitor safety and comfort of patients post-surgery

Establish and maintain a compassionate environment for patients, staff and visiting friends and family

Always adhere to the NMC code of conduct and ensure others are too

Shift Patterns

3 days a week | 07:30 - 17:30 - Option to work overtime at other local hospitals.

Monday and Friday in Theatre - One day to cover admin

Third day is flexible for administrative work

Saturday work may be required occasionally

30 / 37.5 hours per week - flexible

Requirements

Must be a fully qualified ODP / RGN

Ophthalmic experience is preferred but not essential - full training can be given.

Salary and benefits

The salary for this role will be up to £43,000

This job role will be in Slough, Berkshire. Easily commutable from Reading, Guildford and Greater London and the surrounding areas.
