Job Description
Disability Assessor Nurse for Personal Independence Payment (PIP) - FLEXIBLE HOURS
Pay: £35k - £42k/pa + benefits + bonus Nurses: RGN, RMN, RNLD

We have a selection of two roles to choose from:
• Homebased : permanent, remote vacancy conducting telephone assessments or document review from own home with periodic attendance for meetings/training/f2f/ reduce isolation (equipment provided)
• Office-based: conducting face-to-face assessments at your local assessment centre
Nurse Disability Assessor Requirements:
• Valid NMC pin
• A minimum of 12 months' experience as a nurse
• Appropriate work space within the home setting, including broadband, that allows you to successfully complete your role
• No previous assessor experience required as full, paid training is provided
Nurse Disability Assessor role:
• Annual salary of £35k (basic) - £42k (OTE)
• Responsible for own scheduling, allowing for school drop off/pick up
• Core working hours: 10am - 3pm, options to work any day of the week
• Full training is supplied over an initial 20 week period, completed as a mixture of virtual/remote teaching and assessment centre-based training to ensure the right level of support and learning is offered
• Conducting impartial, holistic medical assessments only and does not require you to make any decisions on claim outcomes
• Compiling a report, which is then dispatched for review and decision as to eligibility
• Flexible working hours are available after 6 weeks of training
• Full time, part time and compressed hours available
