Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with a specialist hospital in their search for a Senior Theatre Practitioner to join their experienced team. The hospital, which is formally recognised as a Centre of Excellence for orthopaedic surgery and musculoskeletal services, is well renowned for it's exceptional level of care and standards of service. The hospital is dedicated to being the best healthcare provider within a therapeutic environment and ensuring patient care is central to all elements of the hospital.  

The hospital is looking for an experienced theatre practitioner specialising in Scrub, Anaesthetic or Recovery who has significant experience within a similar role. The successful candidate will be fulfilling a range of procedures within Orthopaedics and Ophthalmology. They will be able to use their clinical knowledge to ensure the affective and appropriate care of patients whilst providing a consistent service. They will be dynamic within their role who is able to work within a high performing team whilst contributing to the general management of the team through supporting other members of staff.

Essential Requirements  

- Registered Practitioner with NMC/HCPC registration  

- Evidence of progression within their role  

- At least 2 years' experience within a theatre role including Orthopaedics, Plastics, Ophthalmology or Maxillofacial.  

- Good interpersonal and communication skills  

- Passion for high quality patient safety and care
