Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with a specialist hospital in their search for a Surgical First Assistant to join their experienced team. The hospital, which is formally recognised as a Centre of Excellence for orthopaedic surgery and musculoskeletal services, is well renowned for it's exceptional level of care and standards of service. The hospital is dedicated to being the best healthcare provider within a therapeutic environment and ensuring patient care is central to all elements of the hospital.

The hospital is looking for an experienced surgical care practitioner who is dynamic within their role, passionate about healthcare and providing a good service all whilst working part of a high functioning team. The successful candidate will be confident in assisting with all elements of the orthopaedic service whilst using their clinical knowledge and skills to properly implement and apply effective care plans for individual cases

Essential Requirements

- Registered Practitioner with NMC/HCPC registration

- Evidence of progression within their role

- At least 2 years' experience within a Surgical Care Practitioner/Surgical First Assistant role working within elective orthopaedics.

- Good interpersonal and communication skills

- Passion for high quality patient safety and care
