Qualifications
Essential criteria
  • Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
  • Registration with HCPC
  • Evidence of relevant post graduate continuing professional development


Desirable criteria
  • Membership of RCOT


Knowledge & Experience
Essential criteria
  • Post graduate experience across a range of specialities, including paediatrics
  • Evidence of working within a multidisciplinary team with clear understanding of each disciplines roles and expectations
  • Experience prescribing specialist equipment


Desirable criteria
  • Experience of working within the acute setting
  • Evidence of managing complex and chronic health needs and caseload prioritisation
  • Experience of working in the community setting, including schools


Skills and Abilities
Essential criteria
  • Proven desire to work in paediatric environment
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to drive a car or has independent means of transport for travel across the southwest
