We are seeking a capable and experienced Senior Palliative Care Nurse to provide clinical leadership to the Inpatient team as Ward Manager at our client's Hospice/Palliative Care Unit based in Central London ( Travelcard Zone 1 ). This role is within easy reach of TfL and National Rail services

You will have responsibility for the delivery of patient-focused programmes of care, which address the complex and changing health needs of patients admitted to the unit.

You will work as an expert practitioner, displaying excellent communication in providing skilled leadership, support and guidance to the nursing team.

This specialist 19 bedded unit offers comprehensive palliative care to a wide variety of patients with life-limiting illnesses.

Person requirements

Registered Nurse with full NMC registration.

Significant post-registration Palliative/End of life care experience.

Current or recent experience at Deputy or Ward Manager level.

Be in possession of, or willing to undertake further post-graduate study in Palliative Care.
