Person specification Qualifications Essential criteria
  • RN1/RN2/RN12 or RN Child Registered Nurse on the NMC register
  • To hold the appropriate level for the area of speciality


Knowledge Essential criteria
  • Knowledge of the key attributes of patient care
  • Knowledge of anaesthetics


Experience Essential criteria
  • Post registration Theatre experience
  • Experience of co-ordinating a shift / Theatre suite
  • To participate in or provide evidence of completion of preceptorship
  • Is able to administer intravenous drug therapy/ or is willing to work towards this Supervision of junior staff


Skills Essential criteria
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Competent in basic life support
  • Manual handling of patients, using lifting aids
  • Able to assess plan, implement and evaluate programmes of care


Values Based Question Essential criteria
  • How would you ensure you represent MFT in a positive way?
