Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Main responsibilities but not limited to are:

Assessing patients needs

Circulating in the I.R suite

Sedating patients (once signed off as competent)

Assisting the radiologist as a scrub nurse

Recovering post G.A patients

Administrating I.V medications/ I.V blood products (training will be provided)

Education/ Qualification
Essential criteria

• RN1/ RN2/ RN12 Registered Nurse on the NMC register.
• Evidence of continuing professional development

Desirable criteria

• Teaching and assessing qualification

Skills
Essential criteria

• Excellent in communication
• Able to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care
• Competent in basic life support
• Acute nursing experience
• Up to date knowledge of current clinical and professional issues.
• Ability to work as an effective team member

Desirable criteria

• Previous experience in Interventional Radiology or theatres settings
• Competent in sedating
• ILS trained
