Occupational Health (OH) Lead Nurse
Location: Central London, UK
Salary: £47,341 - £56,802 (annual) depending on experience
Role: Permanent, Full-Time position

Pulse is delighted to be working alongside a one of London's private healthcare organisations to recruit an Occupational Health (OH) Lead Nurse. They are looking to fill a permanent, full-time position, working Monday - Friday.
The key to becoming an Occupational Health (OH) Nurse is to provide a high-quality service, be compassionate, work collaboratively in a team and be able to advise the patient as well as team of policies and procedures. You will be required to set the OH strategy for the review and delivery of a commercially focussed and responsive service. You will work with a variety of individuals of both non-clinical and clinical as well as external.

Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration
- Occupational Health qualification with a bachelor's degree in Nursing or certificate of higher education
- Post registration experience working as an Occupational Health Nurse with experience of operating at a senior level
- High levels of English in both speaking and writing (equivalent to a level 7 of the International English Language Testing System or the OET at level B)
Your duties will include:
- Provide full occupational health remit, pre-employment medicals/assessments, including case management, health surveillance, health screening and fitness for work
- Deliver and support health and wellbeing initiatives and campaigns including safe use of medical sharps, skin care and dermatitis, mental health and flu campaigns
- Assess, plan, initiate and advise on an employee's fitness to work of referral
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and employees to keep people healthy and in work
- Complete referrals to physiotherapy, therapies or any other external teams
- Create or update policies, procedures and processes owned by OH
- Advise staff who have fit note about duties that can be undertaken (where appropriate), 'a can do' rather than a can't do approach
- Support health and safety investigations and return to work risk assessments
