Peripatetic Nurse Manager - Residential Services

Location : South London and Surrey

Salary : £40,000 per annum - depending on experience

Hours : Full Time

The UK's leading national provider of complex Physical and Mental Health services, is seeking a Peripatetic Nurse Manager to support their 7 services across the South of England. This diverse, remote role will involve working across various residential sites, and reports to the Group Head of Nursing.

Duties and responsibilities of the role include:

• -Supporting and undertaking where needed the assessment, planning and provision of specialist nursing advice and carries out specialist nursing procedures.

-Providing practice nursing support, leadership, advice and guidance to members of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure high standards of

care are provided to all patients at all times with specific responsibilities for the physical well-being of patients across the unit.

-Provide professional nursing input and care for patients across the services.

-Support nursing colleagues with advice and guidance regarding care planning and management of patients` physical conditions.

-Take a lead role in developing and facilitating service-wide well-being initiatives and health promotion.

-Ensuring the individual needs of residents are met, providing opportunities for individuals to use their skills and enhance their quality of life, whilst maintaining their independence and privacy.

-Support the Site Infection Control Leads, with any issues relating to Infection Prevention and Control.

This is a varied and interesting role, the company provide specialised residential care services nationwide for children and adults with a wide range of conditions, including:

complex care for those with brain or spinal cord injuries, as well as progressive neurological conditions and epilepsy

support for those with learning disabilities and autism, challenging behaviour and communication difficulties
