Outpatients Staff Nurse | Band 5 | Dunedin | Full Time (Part time to be considered)

Spire Dunedin Hospital is looking for an Outpatients Staff Nurse to join our dynamic and forward thinking nursing team, work within safe COVID pathways and benefit from our fully funded training programs and excellent IPC support. We would consider newly qualified nurses for this position.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Assess patients' health and wellbeing across a complex and changing caseload.
• Assist in the delivery of care to meet individuals' health and wellbeing needs
• Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information.
• Develop own knowledge and skills and that of others.

Who we are looking for

• Be NMC registered - your pin should not have any restrictions or conditions
• Outpatients experience (desirable)
• Phlebotomy skills (desirable)
• Minor procedure experience (desirable)
• Experience in Dermatology (desirable)
• Excellent communication skills, along with being organised and can display excellent patient care.
