We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Theatre Practitioners to join our Temporary Staffing Bank. This role will support our surgical teams across various specialities such as Urology, Gynaecology, ENT, Plastics, Ophthalmology and Orthopaedics.

Spire Gatwick Park Hospital is just a few miles away from Gatwick Airport. Central London and Victoria station are a 30 minute train ride away. The Hospital consists of two outpatient areas and a Bupa Health Assessment centre. There are two ward areas with 29 single rooms, a two bedded emergency recovery unit with a sixteen bedded day care unit, and five single rooms. There are three operating theatres, two with laminar flow.

Duties and responsibilities

• You will be required to provide exemplary patient care carrying out scrub duties in a theatre setting.
• To assist patients undergoing a wide variety of elective procedures
• Promoting best practise and contributing towards quality improvement

Who we're looking for

• HCPC / NMC registered
• Understanding of scrub roles and theatres
• Experience in Orthopaedics - desirable
• Happy to scrub in a number of different specialities
• Willing to work collaboratively (good team player)
• Planning and organisation
• Concern for standards
• Problem solving and continuous improvement
