Further Details: We are delighted to be recruiting for a motivated and experienced Theatre Nurse / ODP to join our highly reputable private healthcare provider in their hospital based on the outskirts of Manchester. The hospital is ideally located close to Manchester centre and is within easy reach of public transport links and local amenities. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Theatre Nurse / ODP to join their existing thriving and experienced endoscopy team. The hospital has 15 en-suite rooms and two dedicated Day Case Units and offers a range of treatments and services. Their air theatres carry out orthopaedic procedures such as hip and knee replacements, arthroscopy and they have a separate unit suitable for minor operations and endoscopy.

About the role:

As an experienced Theatre Nurse / Practitioner you will be working as part of the endoscopy team and duties will involve the following;

• Delivering exceptional standards of clinical care to surgical patients
• Managing a variety of surgical caseloads
• Working within a friendly team and working together to ensure the highest quality of patient care is provided
• Take part in training opportunities to progress and develop your experience

What we are looking for;

• Applicants must have a valid NMC / HCPC registration with no restrictions and ongoing CDP
• Full eligibility to work in the UK
• At least 2 years Endoscopy experience in the UK
• Comprehensive understanding of relevant clinical standards
• Excellent communication skills
• A good standard of computer literacy
• Ability to time manager
• Team player

Person Specification: to apply for the role of Theatre Nurse / Practitioner applicants must have a valid NMC Registration ( RGN ) or ODP registered with the HCPC with no restrictions and full eligibility to live and work in the UK. All applicants must have a minimum of 2 years experience working in Endoscopy in the UK.
