Job Description
The Teams provide care, treatment and support to adults with significant mental health needs in the borough of Wigan and Leigh. You will be required to have experience of working in a similar setting and role. You will undertake the duties of care coordinator, managing a caseload of service users, with complex mental health needs, under the CPA framework.
You would also be involved in managing duty call from adult service users with severe and enduring mental illness, predominantly who are open to the team on Non CPA offering advice and support.
The service operates between 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, but some flexibility will be required to cover weekend clinics as will the ability to travel within the area. Applications are welcome from candidates who are looking for part and full-time work.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Core professional qualification in registered nursing social work Occupational therapy.
- Degree or equivalent level of experience
- Up to date Professional Registration (to be maintained)
Desirable criteria
- Evidence of further study/ qualification, i.e. Individual or group Psychotherapy Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Systemic Family Practice Webster Stratton Incredible years / parenting groups
Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience of mental health assessments and therapeutic interventions with children and young people with mental health problems and their families
