Cpl Healthcare, in partnership with Aperee, are seeking international nurses to join the nursing home group.

The successful candidates will be responsible in managing resident’s care to ensure the highest professional standards, using an evidence-based, person-centred approach. This role requires flexibility and adaptability to ensure that all work practices meet the criteria in accordance with ‘The National Standards for Residential Settings for Older People & the Care & Welfare of Older Persons in Residential Settings’ Regulations.

Aperee have nursing homes located in Galway, Tralee, Cork, Kilkenny and Waterford. Applicants may be allocated to one of these specific nursing home locations.

Duties:

• Assume responsibility on each shift for the nursing care of residents
• Ensure a high standard in care for the elderly is maintained at all times
• Lead the Health Care Assistants in providing high quality direct and indirect care
• Build strong relationships with residents and their families to encourage trust, and understand their needs
• Evaluate resident care needs and in-conjunction with our multi-disciplinary team implement and evaluate individualized care plans that meet the residents needs
• Form part of a dynamic environment where teamwork and personal development are encouraged
• Ensure all documentation relating to residents is accurately maintained in accordance with regulatory requirement

Requirements:

• Non-EU Applicants must have minimum 2 years’ experience in either med/surg or ICU
• NMBI decision letter holder, or close to obtaining one
• You must have great communication skills
• You must have a passion to work in the care of the older persons setting
