Experience
Essential criteria
- • Minimum of three years post registration experience including experience as a senior staff nurse
- • 12 months within the speciality
- • Chemotherapy competent
Essential criteria
- • RN with NMC registration
- • Awareness of professional responsibilities.
- • Knowledge of current nursing issues.
- • Specialist post registration
- • Oncology course e.g., ENB 237 or Oncology /Haematology/ Palliative/Chemotherapy course module or degree or diploma in relevant speciality.
- • Cannulation and venepuncture skills.
- • Mentorship
- • Working towards/ has a degree.
Essential criteria
- • Ability to prioritise work and to co-ordinate the ward or department.
- • Ability to assess, plan and evaluate patient care needs according to individual needs.
- • Demonstrates an understanding of the application of leadership skills.
- • Have good verbal and written communication abilities.
- Computer literate.
Essential criteria
- • Demonstrate knowledge of the application of evidence based practice
- • Demonstrate an understanding of the assessment process for student nurses.
- • Has knowledge of performance review.
- Education Qualification.
- Evidence of audit or research project.
