Our client is the major Health facility on the beautiful Island of Guernsey , in the Channel Islands. We are seeking an experienced A&E Nurse to join the senior team as Band 7 Team Leader.

Please note; Guernsey has adopted the AfC banding system, but have applied their own salary scale.

The current Guernsey Band 7 salary is up to £58,081 plus an annual bonus of £1,350 and higher unsocial hours enhancements; 36% evening/Saturday and 72% Sunday/BH.

Annual leave starts at 36 days up to 42 days with full credit for NHS service for annual leave and sick leave

Guernsey provides excellent Emergency care, supported by modern equipment and reliant on A&E Nurses recruited to a high standard.

Person requirements

Registered Nurse with full NMC registration.

At least two years experience in a Band 6 A&E post

Experienced in taking charge of the department in the absence of the A&E Manager

Completion of a mentorship qualification.

Completion of ALS qualification
