• Negotiable Salary: up to £10.09 per hour £23,000 per annum based on 44 hours + Enhancements for weekends and overtime
• Hours: Full time hours or Part time hours depending on preference (22 hours, 33 hours and/or 44 hours options available)
• Flexible Shifts: Day shifts /Night shifts or Mixed are available depending on your preference 8/8 start and finish times (All shifts are 12 hours)

Having experience in a healthcare background is desirable but not essential as full training is provided. An essential requirement is a passion for care and making a difference to people's lives.

Our home in Newbury focuses on round-the-clock support for a wide range of needs. Care provision includes nursing or residential care, convalescence and respite, as well as palliative care support and help for adults with Parkinson's.

A typical day will involve:

• Assisting residents with personal care duties such as bathing, dressing, toileting and incontinence care. Providing the highest standards of care, you'll champion the dignity, and independence of all our residents
• Supporting the Nurse or Senior Care Assistant to complete monthly and weekly checks to monitor the health of our residents and reporting any significant changes
• Supporting at meal times: serving meals and transferring residents to the dining room. This might involve supporting them to walk, transferring them in a wheelchair or using a hoist
• Attending planned activities: assisting the team, repositioning, providing care as necessary and taking part in day trips outside the home (day shift only)
• Repositioning residents to ensure they are comfortable and supported
• Admin duties: updating food, fluid and stool charts, supplementary files, daily notes and care plans
