Care Assistant
Located in Stafford, Staffordshire we are one of the UK's leading Private Hospital. We are a 60-bed hospital that specialises in younger adults and children diagnosed mental health condition who need intensive inpatient treatment. Our hospital provides caring, supportive, recovery-focused treatment and we achieve this by working together with our young people, their families, and other professionals.

- Flexible Shifts: Day shifts /Night shifts or Mixed are available depending on your preference, all shifts are 12.15 hour shifts (8.00 - 8.15 start and finish times) Short shifts are also available 08:00-14:15- Early or 14:00-20:15 - Late

A typical day will involve:
- Build relationships with patients, which are open and two way
- Support patients to undertake their rehabilitation programme
- Establish methods of communication with patients, reducing barriers when necessary
- Accurately report and/or record work activities
- Support with activities of daily living & personal care
- Assist patients with mealtimes where necessary
- A Minimum of 6 months experience working within the care and support sector
- A genuine interest in working within a caring environment is essential
- The ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Some experience working within a Mental Health setting is desirable
- The ability to build a great rapport and the desire to truly make a difference
- A person-centred approach in all aspects of care
