Senior Staff Nurse | Surgical Wards | Band 6 | Reading | Full Time | Fully Funded Training Programs

Spire Dunedin Hospital is looking for a Senior Staff Nurse to join our dynamic and forward thinking nursing team, work within safe COVID pathways and benefit from our fully funded training programs and excellent IPC support .

Spire Dunedin Hospital, has been serving the Reading community for over 100 years, as a first-class medical facility. Based in the heart of Reading, the hospital has two theatres, three recovery bays and an endoscopy suite

Duties and responsibilities

The Hospital covers a wide variety of surgical procedures, you will support in assessing patient's health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload, assisting in the delivery of care to meet the patient's needs. You will actively promote best practice and contribute towards quality improvements, collect collate and organise data, interpret all of the information and make a justifiable assessment, making this available to relevant others.

Who we're looking for

• NMC registered
• Minimum of 2 years surgical experience
• ALS training is desirable, however training is provided
• Good communication skills
• Good team working
