This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Senior Scrub Nurse / Practitioner to join a leading, forward-thinking private hospital in their expanding theatre team in Chelmsford. The hospital offers a range of services including surgery, medicine, oncology, plastic and cosmetic surgery and Paediatrics. The hospital is well equipped with modern facilities and has a day unit and high dependency unit. The role of Senior Scrub Nurse / Practitioner works across arrange of specialities, allowing a great opportunity to expand your experience!

About the role:

You will be joining our experienced and expanding theatre team as a Senior Scrub Nurse / Practitioner where you will be responsible for;

• Delivering the highest quality of clinical outcomes
• Perform the scrub role in consultant led surgeries
• Working across a varied range of specialisms
• Working well as part of a supportive team
• Enthusiastic and empathetic
• Work well independently

Who we're looking for;

• Valid NMC pin or an ODP registered with the HCPC- you must not have any restrictions or conditions
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK
• Previous UK experience working within a theatre team
• Experience in orthopaedics, hip/ knee arthroplasty and anterior cruciate ligaments reconstruction- highly advantageous
• Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) - Desirable but not essential

Person Specification: All applicants must have a valid NMC Registration ( RGN ) or ODP registered with the HCPC with no restrictions and full eligibility to live and work in the UK. At least 2 years scrub experience in a theatre team is essential for this position.
