Role: Registered Childrens Nurse - Wards

Location: Harrow

Salary: Upto £38k plus benefits

Hours: 37.5 per week (various shifts) Part Time hours also available.

MediTalent are recruiting on behalf of a state of the art, private hospital in Harrow area of London for a senior registered nurse. This 121 bed hospital boasts 5 operating theatres and an endoscopy suite and offers a wide range of elective surgeries including weight loss, gynaecology, general and minor and major orthopaedics.

You will be working as a Registered Childrens Nurse in the wards department. You will join a friendly and well established team providing safe and effective care to patients up to the age of 18 years without direct supervision. You will carry out pre-assessments for paediatric patients who have been booked for an elective procedure ensuring the emergency paediatric equipment is checked on a daily basis and meets required guidelines, escalating to the Nurse in charge any deficits.

This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week part time hours also available. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

The ideal candidate will be a Paediatric Advanced Life Support Registered Child Nurse with NMC registration and have up to date knowledge in acute paediatric medicine/surgery. Experience within an acute Children's area or willing to undergo period of preceptorship and basic Paediatric Life Support experience of customer care, including interacting with challenging customers and situations.
