Work for a leading healthcare provider that works in the community offering clinical homecare in the Peterborough Area. As a Home Care Community Nurse you could earn a salary of up to £32,000 per annum plus other great benefits including a car allowance.

As a Community Nurse you will provide safe and high-quality nursing care, administering a range of IV therapies as defined in the patient's care plan whilst sustaining professional standards. Community nurses are ambassadors for delivering patient focused care, offering quality nursing that is tailored to the patients' needs. Ensuring all professional standards are excelled and relevant care plans are delivered. You will build lasting personal relationships with patients, stakeholders and patient support networks to aide and support their treatment and recovery.

As the Community Nurse you will be expected to safely administer a range of therapeutic interventions relevant to NHS project and training as well as, identify and report risks and incidents using hospital-based systems as per contractual requirements.

The ideal candidate for this Community Nurse position will be a Registered Nurse and be competent in the administration of IV therapies, venepuncture and administering sub-cut injections. Being able to cannulate would be advantageous as well as experience of undertaking holistic clinical assessments.

You will also require a valid NMC Pin, and this is a community role travelling to visit patients in their home setting, it is crucial that you have full UK Driving Licence.
