About the hospital;

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Endoscopy Nurse to join a highly reputable and dynamic private hospital based in Washington, Tyne and Wear. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Endoscopy Nurse to join their friendly Endoscopy department on a permanent basis. The hospital is a 35 in-patient bedded hospital offering a range of services and facilities including 4 operating theatres including Orthopaedics, Gynaecology and a Diagnostic Suite. The team are passionate about the high quality care they provide and looking for a like minded Endoscopy Nurse to join the team.

Duties and responsibilities

You will be working in the Endoscopy department as an Endoscopy Nurse and will be responsible for the following duties;

• Providing excellent patient care at all times
• Pre-assessments, admitting patients into the endoscopy unit
• Assisting consultants and discharding patients from the unit
• Participating in all general endoscopy procedures
• Scrub for some minor surgeries (full training provided)

Who we're looking for

• Be NMC registered RGN - your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK
• Minimum of 2 years endoscopy experience in the UK
• Have BLS and ideally ALS
• Knowledge of Joint Advisory Group (JAG) and CQC standards
