Main duties of the job

Emergency Medicine at MFT

The departments offer a wide range of specialty and sub-interests with particular focus on: Academia, research, major trauma, ultrasound, paediatric emergency medicine, medical student teaching, simulation and more. Our departments are busy inner-city institutions and provide cover for a diverse population with specific medical and social needs providing an interesting and varied case mix. This is bolstered by being a paediatric and adult major trauma centre served by our recently opened helipad.

To join us, you'll need to be entered on the GMC Specialist Register for Emergency Medicine or be eligible for CCT or equivalent within six months. Skills in supervising trainees, teaching junior medical staff, leading a team and communicating with multidisciplinary colleagues are vital.
