Area Care Manager-Kent-£50K

Covering: Service- 4 small Residential and Supported Living Services in Gillingham and Maidstone

My client is currently looking for a Senior Manager to oversee four Mental Health services in Gillingham and Maidstone. This fantastic opportunity will allow you the chance to be an effective coach and mentor and allow your person-centred approach to lead your team to success and provide the highest level of care. The company has an excellent reputation within the area and consistently strive to ensure the provision of the highest quality service to their service users.

The role of Area Care Manager will include:
• Developing and monitoring the implementation of person-centred care through the company's services
• Ensure the health and safety of staff and service
• Ensure all care staff adhere to external regulations and standards
• Recruitment, training and performance management/support
• Financial administration, ensuring effective budgeting and staffing
• Completion of rotas and timesheets
• Work alongside agencies in order to increase referrals and placements in line with company targets
• Assessment of care plans
• Provide excellent leadership and management

To be eligible for this fantastic opportunity all we need is a candidate who has:

• Previous operations/regional experience within the mental health sector
• Level 5 Registered Manager qualification (or equivalent)
• Holds Strong business acumen
• Sound knowledge of CQC and Care Standards
• Multi-site experience within the care sector
• Excellent people management and interpersonal skills
• Be willing to support in order to develop staff members
