We are looking to recruit an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner for a General Practice in Totnes, they can consider both part time and full time applicants, working any days across the week as they have plenty of room availability.

The Advanced Nurse Practitioner they are looking for will be autonomous, able to run there own Minor Illness clinics both over the phone and face to face. You will also need to be a qualified V300 Prescriber and be able to assess, diagnose and treat a range of patients of all ages (2+ years). Ideally you'll have, or be working towards, your MSc in Advanced Practice. They may be able to consider those without an MSc if you've had over 5 years working under the Nurse Practitioner title.

The surgery has an excellent reputation in the area, with a great CQC report, fantastic patient reviews, and a strong well established Nursing team that has excellent retention rates.

The surgery have around 15,000 patient on their list and use EMIS web.

They have parking on site and handy facilities including shower and kitchen for staff, the building is modern and new, with good light in all the treatment rooms. They are a training Practice and promote staff development at all points, happy to offer training where needed, and protective time for annual updates etc.

The Practice offer a Agenda for Change package, which includes all of the AfC benefits around maternity, sick and annual leave allowance. This means you have up to 33 days of leave available with bank holidays off. The salary is a Band 8 salary and you'll get yearly increment increases.
